How it works in practice
You describe the task
Write to us by messenger or call. If you can, send photos of the problem or of the item that needs installing. This helps us price it more accurately.
We agree the price
Based on your description and photos, we calculate a fixed price and agree it with you. If an on-site assessment is needed, we come, take a look and send confirmation.
Visit and work
We come at the agreed time and do the work carefully and to a proper finish. We protect surfaces and clean up after ourselves. If hidden defects come to light during the work, we get in touch, agree the next steps, and only continue once you have said yes.
Test and report
We check the result: plumbing for tightness, electrics for function, furniture for stability. We take before and after photos and send a report through our communication channel.
What we do not do
- Electrical installation work involving connection to the panel or new wiring — this needs a licensed electrician.
- Gas work — installing, connecting or servicing gas appliances. Only a licensed specialist.
- Major plumbing — replacing risers, in-wall pipework, serious work on the water supply and drainage.
- Structural work — load-bearing walls, floor slabs, beams.
- Roofing work — this needs specialists certified for work at height.
- Large renovation projects — full renovations, replacing windows, replacing floor coverings throughout a room. That is "Contractor Support".
- 24/7 emergency work — we come out by arrangement, not around the clock. For Premium subscribers, there is a priority response within guaranteed timeframes.
Typical repairs — a price guide
These are the most common tasks and our approximate prices. The exact price is agreed from a description of the task with photos or after an on-site assessment.
| Task | Approximate cost |
|---|---|
| Replacing a mixer or tap | from €69 |
| Silicone seal in the bathroom | from €49 |
| Replacing a lock on a standard door | from €99 |
| Fitting a TV bracket with mounting | from €89 |
| Replacing 5–10 bulbs around the apartment | from €69 |
| Assembling simple furniture (1 item) | from €69 |
| Assembling large furniture (4-door Pax, sofa, kitchen unit) | from €119 |
| Installing a washing machine / dishwasher | from €79 |
The minimum visit price is €69 (up to 1 hour on site, one or several simple tasks). If the indicative price of a service is below €69, the minimum visit price applies. If we complete several tasks in one visit, the service prices usually add up (for example, a silicone seal at €49 + replacing a mixer at €69 = €118 in a single trip). The exact total is always agreed in advance. Property Care subscribers get a 10% discount and priority in the queue.
Quality and our responsibility
We take on only what we are sure of
If a task requires a licence or specialist qualification we do not have, we say so directly and offer ways to solve it (a specialist from our team, a recommendation for an external contractor, or support for work done by someone you find). No "let's try and see if it works".
We test the result before we leave
Plumbing — we check for tightness under pressure (open and close several times, check after a minute, after ten minutes). Electrics — we make sure everything works normally, with no sparking, and that switches respond correctly. Furniture and installation — we check stability, opening and closing, load. Locks — we open and close them several times and check that they work smoothly.
A 30-day guarantee on our work
If, within 30 days of the work being done, something stops working because of our mistake or poor workmanship, we come back and fix it free of charge. The guarantee does not cover: natural wear of materials, damage from incorrect use, the failure of parts through no fault of ours (manufacturing defects, wear of your old components), or work that required a licence and was not done by us.
Care for your home
We protect surfaces before work (film, fabric), clear away construction debris and shavings after ourselves, and leave the work area clean.
A photo report by default
Before and after every job — this is standard practice. It is for transparency, especially if you are not on site, and as supporting evidence should any questions arise.
