Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 May 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who We Are
DomCare operates as DomCare s.p., a Slovenian sole proprietor (samostojni podjetnik, s.p.) currently completing registration in Slovenia.
For questions relating to the processing of personal data, contact us at: hello@domcare.si
2. What Data We Collect
Through the contact forms on the website
- Name — to address you personally when we reply.
- Email and/or phone — to send a reply to your request.
- Type of service requested — to route your request correctly.
- Additional message — if you provided one, entirely at your discretion.
Automatically when you visit the website
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregated page-view statistics. The data is anonymised, IP addresses are not stored, and no third-party cookies are used.
- Cloudflare technical data — for protection against DDoS attacks and bots (Cloudflare Turnstile when forms are submitted). Cloudflare processes IP addresses in accordance with its own privacy policy.
What we do not collect
- Bank details or payment data (payments are made by invoice).
- Real-time location data.
- Social media profiles.
- Data of minors (our services are intended for adults).
3. Legal Bases for Processing
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — processing data to reply to your request and provide the services requested.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — you give explicit consent when submitting a form by ticking the relevant box. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — anonymous website traffic analytics to improve the service. This interest does not override your rights, as the data does not allow individuals to be identified.
- Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — retention of financial documents in accordance with Slovenian tax law.
4. Data Retention Periods
- Form data with no subsequent agreement — 24 months from the last contact, after which it is deleted.
- Active client data — for the entire duration of the engagement, plus 5 years in accordance with Slovenian tax law (ZDavP-2 — Slovenian Tax Procedure Act).
- Inactive client data — 5 years from the date of the last service provided, for tax-reporting purposes.
- Cloudflare technical logs — stored by Cloudflare in accordance with its own policy (usually no longer than 30 days).
5. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be passed to the following processors solely to support our services technically:
- Resend (Resend Inc., USA) — email delivery service used to forward submissions from website forms. It processes only the email address, name and text of your request.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., USA) — website hosting, bot protection (Turnstile), analytics. Acts as a data processor under a DPA (Data Processing Agreement).
6. Transfers of Data Outside the EU
Resend and Cloudflare are US companies. Data is transferred on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC, Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), which ensure an adequate level of data protection. Both providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Your Rights Under the GDPR
As a data subject, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15) — to obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16) — to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17) — the "right to be forgotten" where there is no basis for further processing.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18) — to temporarily limit processing while a dispute is being resolved.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20) — to receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21) — to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to withdraw consent — at any time and without giving reasons; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
8. How to Exercise Your Rights

9. Use of Cookies

10. Changes to This Policy
In the event of significant changes, we will publish an updated version on this page at least 30 days before it takes effect, and update the date in the header. Existing clients will be notified by email.
