DomCare isn't run by managers or rotating staff — it's run by two real people, a husband and wife: Slava and Alina. We've led the service together from day one, and we personally answer for every property entrusted to us.

Slava handles everything to do with the condition of a property. He has deep experience in repairs and a real understanding of how houses and apartments are put together — from building systems to finishes.

He does a lot of the work himself: small repairs, replacing consumables, sourcing and delivering whatever the property needs. When a job goes beyond that, he selects the right person, agrees on the scope and the price, oversees the work in person, and signs off the result.

What matters most: that every task you give us is done on time, in the agreed scope, and exactly the way you expect it.

Alina — Communication and order

Alina handles communication with owners and makes sure your property is always clean and in order. She has a background in client service and a clear sense of what "in order" means to different owners: for some it's a spotless home before they arrive, for others a steady stream of calm updates, and for others the small details most people never notice.

She does a lot of it herself: she handles all correspondence with owners, plans the visit schedule, prepares the home for your return, and takes care of everyday errands — household shopping, accepting deliveries, arranging small services. When a full clean or extra hands are needed, she brings in trusted people and checks the result in person.

What matters most: that you can always get a quick answer, and that your home meets you in exactly the state you want to find it.

This division of work lets us treat every property individually and thoughtfully. We always know who's handling what, our internal communication is solid, and any decision gets made quickly — without unnecessary sign-offs and back-and-forth.

We've built the service the way a strong family is built: each of us with a clear area of responsibility, shared goals, and complete trust in one another. We carry that same principle into the work we do on your property.

The team may change over time — but the principle doesn't: we only work with people we're ready to stand behind in front of you. We've tested every person on our own jobs, and the responsibility for any work always rests with us — never "sort it out with the contractor yourself."

We do what we agreed to do — in full, on time, and in the form we settled on. If we take on a job, we see it through to the result.

Quality

We don't do "just enough." Every task — from a routine check to a serious repair — is done so that no one has to come back to it. Better to spend an extra hour than to leave something half-finished.

We do what we promised, in the agreed scope, with no hidden charges. We don't pad jobs to bill more, and we don't quietly cut corners where we agreed to do the full job. If something changes along the way, we agree it with you first, then do it.

What we don't do

We're upfront about the limits of our work. It's part of the same principle of integrity: better to say clearly what's outside our area of work than to take on everything and do it half-well.

We are not real estate agents.

There are dedicated agencies for buying and selling property. If you need an agent, we're happy to recommend people we've worked with or whose work we know is well regarded.

We don't provide legal or tax advice.

Ownership paperwork, taxes, inheritance and legal representation are a separate profession. But we have trusted contacts among Slovenian lawyers and tax specialists you can turn to.

We are not a short-term-rental management company.

Running an Airbnb or Booking listing is a separate business model with its own logic and a different volume of work. If you rent your property short-term yourself or through an operator, we can take on the property care between bookings, prepare the property, and keep an eye on its condition.

We are not a construction company.

Major renovations and turn-key projects we organise through trusted contractors and oversee on-site — but we don't act as a general building contractor ourselves. If your project is bigger than our scale, we'll tell you honestly and help you find the right people.
